MiCrédito Employees Graduate from International Master’s Program

MiCrédito reaffirms its commitment to excellence and innovation in microfinance by announcing that six of its employees from Nicaragua and Honduras have successfully completed the 19th edition of the Permanent Training Master’s in Microfinance and Social Development, offered by the University of Alcalá in Spain. This high-level program strengthens the professional development of employees and reinforces the institution’s capacity to generate a positive impact on society.
The master’s program covers the fundamentals of microfinance and the strategic management of Microfinance Institutions (MFIs), focusing on providing financial and non-financial products that benefit low-income clients, ensuring institutional sustainability, and promoting environmental protection. It also integrates ESG criteria (Corporate Governance, Social, and Environmental), strengthening responsible decision-making within MFIs.
Scarleth Jirón, Head of Human Talent at MiCrédito Nicaragua, shared:
